Before I worked with anyone else's business, I built these exact systems for my own. EngineerU LLC, my educational consulting practice here in Northern Virginia. Here's what I ran into, and what I built to fix it.
I was tracking 30+ students across AP Calculus AB, BC, and Precalculus. Every score update meant jumping between spreadsheets, doing composite score math by hand, and typing individual emails to every parent. It was eating 2–3 hours per cycle that I just didn't have.
So I built a custom Google Sheets dashboard: automatic composite scoring, AP band color-coding, and a one-click email button that pre-fills the parent and student's contact info. What used to take me a couple hours now takes about 10 minutes. That's a real thing I use every single week.
